    Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A., is ranked among prominent and reputed business personalities around the world today.

    Under his dynamic leadership Lulu Group has achieved significant growth and successfully diversified into various business lines. Today, the group with 38400 employees is one of the leading importers, wholesalers and retailers of all kinds of consumer items with a world-wide business network and having 127 retail outlets with a chain of Shopping Malls and Lulu Hypermarkets spread across continents. Deloitte has ranked the Group as one of the ten fastest growing retailers in the world

    Yusuff Ali is very closely involved in many social, charitable and humanitarian activities both in India as well as in Gulf countries and the philanthropist in him has always come to the forefront in organizing huge and timely relief measures from the Gulf during many natural calamities in India. He also plays a vital role in fostering the interests of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and keeping intact the communal harmony among the NRIs in the Gulf

    He is a Director Board Member in The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, being the only non-Arab elected by the business community consecutively for a record third time

    He is the recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri and Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards from the Govt. of India.

    He is a Trustee, both, in The India Development Foundation and Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre, Govt. of India.

    Yusuff Ali has always strived to bring in foreign investments and expertise to India and he is the National Council Member in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Co-Chairman of its Gulf Committee. He is also a Director in Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL), the first PPP Airport project in India and Kannur International Airport Ltd. (KIAL)

    Mr. Sharad Bhandari, Vice Chairman

    Sharad is the Managing Partner and founder of ARDENT Advisory and Accounting. Formerly, Sharad was a partner and the Head of Transactions and Restructuring practice at a Big 4 firm in the Lower Gulf.

    Sharad has over three decades of Audit and Advisory experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Restructuring, Forensic and Internal Audit. He served as the Lead Partner on several large clients of the Big 4 firm and has led several landmark Corporate Finance and Restructuring transactions in the UAE in the recent past.

    Sharad until recently was a nominated member of the Trade Committee of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.

    Sharad is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

    Mr. Mohan Jashanmal

    Mohan Jashanmal was born in Karachi, India now Pakistan in 1938. In 1957 joined family business in the Gulf, Jashanmal & Sons. In 1964 came to Abu Dhabi as Manager, Jashanmal & Sons, Abu Dhabi. Former Chairman of Indian Sports Club, presently known as India Social Centre and Former Chairman of Indian School, presently known as Abu Dhabi Indian School. On March 11, 1991 received permanent residence for Mohan Jashanmal, his wife, Maya Jhangiani and his children from H.H. Sh. Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. In 2011 received Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award from the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. In 2015 accompanied delegation from UAE to Kuala Lampur, Malaysia as advised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Community Development to attend as one of the speakers for 4th International Seminar on Interfaith Harmony and tolerance held on February 4-5, 2015.

    At present he is the Regional General Manager of Jashanmal National Co., Abu Dhabi and Shareholder of Jashanmal Group of Companies

    Former Chairman of Indian Business Professional Group formed in the year 1992 and registered with Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 1997. Twice have accompanied the delegation of ADCCI to Canada and India on behalf of Indian Business & Professional Group.

    Presently involved with various activities of Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, particularly on good behavior

    GIRDHARI BUDHANMAL WHABI (BHATIA) was born in Bahrain and after graduation from St. Xavier’s College from Mumbai in 1966 joined African Eastern (NE) Bahrain in their Engineering Division and was promoted over a period of time to Regional Manager for the GCC Countries including Saudi Arabia for engineering products

    He joined in 1977 Technical Parts Company (Bhatia Brothers Group) in Abu Dhabi and was responsible as CEO and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi based companies and overseas branches in UK, France and India. He is a founder member of IBPC and IBPG both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

    In 2000,he branched out to start PRIME GROUP ASSOCIATES in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. At present CEO of both the companies and a Director of Electro steel based in Jebel Ali.

    He is Consultant and advisor to Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company in the UAE who have a Billion Dollar under management and a Director of their Private Equity Fund based in Mauritius.

    Mr. Kesavan Muraleedharan, businessman and philanthropist spearheads the Southern Franchise Company LLC (SFC Group) with its major stakes in the hospitality industry. His tryst with entrepreneurship began in 1989 when he started the Group in Abu Dhabi. Having reached UAE 40 years ago, he is one of the zealous entrepreneurs working for a cohesive relation between Indian and Abu Dhabi business communities

    Today the group has presence in restaurants, hotels and industrial catering spread across all emirates of UAE. As an organisation with clear vision to be of service to others, the group manages multi-brand concepts with over 50 upmarket restaurants. Home grown brands of the group, namely India Palace, Southern Fried Chicken, SFC Plus, Golden Dragon Restaurant, Avenue Hotel, Southern Food and Catering Services, Southern General Contracting Company etc are well acknowledged in the region.

    Lateral growth in mind, the Group has started to nurture its business interest in India by launching its hotels & Quick service restaurants.     From humble beginnings working on his ancestral farmlands in his youth in Punjab to working as an Electrical Supervisor for a Project Developer in Abu Dhabi and further on to Founder Chairman of Electro Group, Surjit Singh ranks amongst the few successful individuals who define the “self-made man”.

    Electro Cooling Centre LLC opened its door first in 1981 and within a few years became a specialized service provider in the Electro Mechanical Contracting for residential and commercial projects. In the years to follow, further diversifications expanded of the reputation built to be recognized as leaders in the Automobile Air-Conditioning services, transport and warehouse refrigeration systems manufacturing and services. In 2006, realizing the potential of the Dubai and Global real-estate industry, Surjit Singh established Five River Properties LLC in Abu Dhabi to manage investments in properties in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

    His success in business life only naturally transcends into his social and cultural achievements. President of World Punjabi Organization for Abu Dhabi chapter, Patron of ROKO Cancer Trust for Middle East and Sun Foundation India, Executive Committee Member of SAARC Chamber, Board Member of Governors of India Social and Cultural Centre, Recipient of Legend of Punjab - Punjab Rattan, and 101 The World’s Greatest Leaders- Asia and G.C.C. award. As the Joint Secretary of Abu Dhabi Cricket Council he played a key role in the inauguration of Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium Abu Dhabi and also the conceptualization and execution of the EurAsia Cricket Tournament in Abu Dhabi.

    Mr. Sridhar Iyengar

    Sridhar (Sri) Iyengar has more than 30 years’ senior experience within the finance, corporate and project finance, business development and financial/strategic management fields.

    He is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Aerospace, Renewables & ICT business platform within Mubadala, a position he has held since May 2017 following the merger of Mubadala Development Company and IPIC.

    Sri has been with the broader Mubadala Group for more than 17 years and was previously the CFO for Waha Capital and Mubadala GE Capital. More recently, he was the Executive Director of Group Finance at Mubadala Development Company, where he was responsible for the Group’s entire finance function.

    Sri holds an MBA with a specialization in finance and corporate strategy from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India
